What is Angel Worx®? For the last seven years, VentureCapital.org has held an Angel Worx event in Utah focused on educating early stage investors on trends and best practices. The highlight of this event is a detailed and robust report of the investment activities of Utah’s early stage investment market. This year for the first time, Idaho will be in the report. It will provide more insights into the investment trends in both markets to help accelerate cross-border investing.

There will be two events, one in Utah (August 18th) and one in Idaho (August 30th). The report will be provided to all attendees of the events, be available online as a link on our website, and additional printed copies will be available to those who couldn’t attend the events.

In Utah. On August 18th the report will be released at the Joint Luncheon held with the Mountain West Capital Network, the Utah Technology Council, the Women’s Technology Council and VentureCapital.org. This year’s format is different in that it will be a luncheon event featuring nationally recognized economist Dan North from Euler Hermes discussing the outlook for the U.S. economy. The expected attendance of the event will be approximately 250 influential leaders from the local investor and technology communities.

In Idaho. The event is a luncheon scheduled for the 30th of August in downtown Boise. Speaker TBD. This event will be held with support from Boise Angel Alliance, Boise State University, the CORE, Idaho Technology Council, Keiretsu Forum and Trailhead. The expected attendance of the event will be approximately 100+ influential leaders of the entrepreneur and venture community.
