WeAngels will be Utah’s first Angel Investment group designed specifically for women. While having both men and women members, WeAngels’ stated purpose is to recruit, educate, train and empower women to become the next generation of investors in Utah and nationally.
Managed by VentureCapital.org, WeAngels will provide all interested, potential investors with an Angel 101 series to educate both men and women on effective angel investing. WeAngels will also serve as a powerful networking organization, connecting influential women with the goal of supporting both women-founded and women-led businesses locally across the country. Our ultimate goal is to create more women funders to support all entrepreneurs.
Who should attend:
Anyone regardless of gender, who is considering or actively investing, or hoping to network with those who do, should attend this party. Private investment experience or investment understanding is not required or expected.
What to expect:
This event promises to bring out over 100 aspiring and participating angel investors in the Utah area. Everyone participating has the intention to make a positive impact on access to capital for women.
This Launch Party will unveil how the entity will be formed and how it will measure our impact on making a difference to women founders. Participants will have the opportunity to sign up for our investment education course and also sign up to engage in investment opportunities. Our inaugural sponsors who support these efforts will be there.
