The federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs award over $2.6 billion in high risk R&D funding annually to qualified small businesses. This webinar, conducted by SBIR/STTR expert, Becky Aistrup, will provide an overview of SBIR/STTR funding, including program purpose, eligibility requirements, participating agencies, how funds can be used, and more. Becky will also introduce Idaho attendees to BBCetc’s SBIR/STTR Pursuit Library of recorded webinars, which covers a wide variety of SBIR/STTR topics and is free to Idaho companies through August 2017.

Becky’s professional background includes over 20 years of experience working within the medical, biotech, advanced materials and electronics industries, and consulting with technology companies on SBIR/STTR funding. She holds a B.A. degree in Chemistry from the University of Kansas and an M.B.A. in Marketing Management from the University of Minnesota.
